Welcome to season 2024 at Mirboo North United Football Club (MNUFC)!

For Club Communications please sign up to Stack Team App; documents and updates can be found here. https://mnufc.teamapp.com/?_webpage=v1

The efficient running of your club relies entirely on the time and effort put in by volunteers. We understand that every member/parent has different capacities for volunteering, and we urge you to find a role that suits your own availability. The soccer season runs smoothly when everyone contributes.

We have a complete set of guidelines for each role, and some experienced volunteers who will support you in whatever role you choose. Please contact the club mnufc09@hotmail.com or talk to a committee member at training: President – Russell Williams, Vice President – Anthony Collins, Secretary – Chris Bickhoff or Treasurer – Arica Smith and Communications & Marketing – Tania McConnell.

Treasurer – Our Treasurer Arica Smith, is going on extended leave and will not be available from May 2024. If you can help out with this committee role please contact the club mnufc09@hotmail.com

Coaching – Anthony Collins is the head coach. He has set up training programs, procured new equipment and is currently overseeing and supporting our coaches to deliver quality training at all levels in the club. Our coaches and players will all benefit from also having assistant coaches to give a hand at training. If you have any general coaching related questions or would like to get involved as a coach or assistant coach, please give Anthony a shout.

For matches we need the following volunteers for each team:

Team Manager, Ground Marshal, Lines Person, First Aider, 1/2 time oranges for players, canteen helpers (home games)

Team Managers – The main role of the Team Manager is to organise and record the players for games being played over the weekend. They will also compile a roster for all families to participate in these volunteer roles required for games. If you are not able to fill your slot we would appreciate it if you arrange for someone to do it for you, and inform the team manager of this.

First Aid – A First Aid Co-ordinator to maintain First Aid Kits. We are required by Football Australia to provide a Level 2 First Aid for each team at each game. If you have a Level 2 First Aid Certificate please email a copy of the certificate and team availability to the club.
 mnufc09@hotmail.com.
MNUFC has been fortunate to receive a grant from the Delburn Wind Farm Pre-Development Grant for volunteers who would like to complete Level 2 First Aid Training. To express your interest please complete Mirboo North UFC – EOI – First Aid Training on the Play Football Registration system.

Canteen – For home games we need a Canteen Manager as well as canteen helpers from each team.

Fund Raising
- The committee strives to keep membership fees as low as possible despite rising costs. Through the season the club needs to raise funds to cover extra expenses such as Affiliation Fees, Match Referees, Line Marking, Uniforms, Balls, Lighting, training and field equipment etc. We rely on volunteers to organise and run various fundraisers. These include Kids Disco, Op Shop, Trivia Night, Raffles, and Club Merchandise.

All volunteers are required to hold a valid Working with Children Check, registration is free for volunteers, to apply for a WWCC please visit https://www.service.vic.gov.au/find-services/work-and-volunteering/working-with-children-check
and nominate MNUFC as the volunteering organisation.
